Chairman Barry Smitherman, of the  Texas Railroad Commission will testify in front of the House Energy &  Commerce Committee, Subcommittee on Energy & Power, at a hearing titled  “EPA Enforcement Priorities and Practices.”   His testimony will focus on specific problems states have recently  encountered with attempted federal regulation by the EPA.  Chairman Smitherman will also testify on the  implications of proposed EPA regulations and their effects on the State of  Texas and its residents.
