RRC Adopts Revisions to Form G-10, Gas Well Status Report

The Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) has adopted revisions to Form G-10, Gas Well Status Report, for use on or after January 1, 2017.

The revisions to the form are part of the Texas Oilfield Relief Initiative and conform to 16 Texas Administrative Code §3.28 [Statewide Rule 28(a)]. The form revisions adjust the methodology regarding deliverability testing requirements for gas wells to provide an alternative method for determining shut-in well head pressure. This process will  reduce the administrative burden for those wells and associated costs to the oil and gas industry.

The revised Form G-10 is available for download on the RRC website. In addition, the form may be filed online using the RRC Online System.
