Annual Oil and Gas Division Monitoring and Enforcement Plan

 In 2017 the Texas Legislature (H.B. 1818, 85th Legislature, Regular Session, 2017) directed the Railroad Commission of Texas to develop an annual plan to assess the most effective use of its limited resources to ensure public safety and minimize damage to the environment. 


Report on Oil and Gas Field Operations' Violations and Enforcement

Rider 11 of the Railroad Commission of Texas' Appropriation within the General Appropriations Act (85th Legislative Session) requires the Commission to publish a quarterly report about Oil and Gas enforcement data on its website. [This information was previously required under Rider 11 of General Appropriations Act (84th Legislative Session), Rider 15 of General Appropriations Act (83rd Legislative Session), and Rider 17 of the General Appropriations Act (82nd Legislative Session).]
