P-1B Report Data Dictionary P1B-OPERATOR-NO
The operator number assigned to the company by the RRC. Taken from
the Organization Report (Form P-5).
Must be 'P1B' for P-1B reports.
The RRC district in which the oil lease is located. See DR-DISTRICT
for further details.
Must be 'R' for report records.
The field name exactly as shown on the RRC proration schedule.
Must be a valid five-digit, RRC-assigned oil lease number.
The date the production volume information is for in year, month
Indicates the purpose of filing the report.
An explanation of why the report is being filed if "other" is
indicated in P1B-PURPOSE-OF-FILING.
The lease name exactly as shown on the RRC proration schedule.
The amount of oil in storage on the lease at the beginning of the
month in whole barrels.
The amount of oil produced on the lease during the month in whole
The direct removal of oil by an authorized pipeline gatherer in
The direct removal of oil by an authorized truck gatherer in whole
The direct removal of oil by an authorized tank car or barge gatherer
in whole barrels.
An adjustment to and/or lease use of production already measured by the
operator. Specifically, net oil is a volume that is extracted by a
professional tank cleaning service. The figure is in whole barrels.
Original movement off the lease. The operator of the well has measured
and released the stated volume to the operator of another well for
use as frac liquid on the second lease. The figure is in whole barrels.
Any loss of liquid hydrocarbons due to a spill, break, file, leak, or
theft. This is oil which has already been measured as production by
the producing operator and will be shown as a disposition. The figure
is in whole barrels.
Indicates an adjustment to and/or lease use of production already
measured by the well operator. Specifically, basic sediment and water
is a volume that results from a tank cleaning by a professional
tank cleaning service. The figure is in whole barrels.
Skim oil in whole barrels. Accounts for indirect disposition of
production as measured by others (i.e., by allocation). It relates
to production that has not been measured by the producer because it
left the lease entrained in saltwater going to a saltwater gathering
system. Since there is no way of knowing what volume of liquid
hydrocarbons came from a particular producing property, liquid
hydrocarbons above a specified tolerance level are allocated back
to the producing properties in proportion to the amount of saltwater
that came from that property.
Scrubber oil in whole barrels. Accounts for indirect disposition of
production that has not been measured by the producer because it left
the lease entrained in casinghead gas going to a gas processing plant.
Since there is no way of knowing what volume of liquid hydrocarbons
came from a particular producing property, liquid hydrocarbons above
a specified tolerance level are allocated back to the producing
properties in proportion to the amount of casinghead gas that came
from that property.
A catch-all involving stock adjustments, water bleed-off,lease use,
road oil, and theft. The material has already been measured as
production by the producing operator and so will only be shown as a
disposition; therefore, there is no allocation back to the lease.
The figure is in whole barrels.
An explanation of the volume entered in P1B-LIQ-DISP-OTHER.
The amount of oil in storage on the lease at the end of the month in
The amount of casinghead gas produced during the month in MCF.
Any comment desired.
