Register Yourself for an AFS Event

Follow the instructions below to register yourself for an Alternative Fuels Safety event if you are not employed by a licensed company.

1. Request an individual account be created by sending an email to New_AFOS_Account_Request@rrc.texas.gov, with the following information:
   
   
   • First Name
   • Last Name
   • Suffix
   • Email address
   • Cell phone number (Used for multi-factor authentication.)
   
   

   Note: You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on completing the account creation process. Accounts are only created during normal business hours. (Normal business hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with the exception of holidays.)

   
   
   
   After you have created your login, please follow the steps below to complete the registration process.
   
   
2. Go to AFOS and login at the top right of the screen. AFOS may also be accessed through the RRC Applications page.
   

   

3. Select New or Edit Events
   
   
   
4. Choose the type of class and select an event by clicking on the event title. (Tip: Sort by Event Start Date and Time or Event Status to view open events).
   
   
   
5. Select Click Here to Register Now. Do not click "Click Here to Register Now"
   
   
   
6. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the registration process.
