Texas.Gov Payments General Maintenance

Notice to Operators: RRC Online Payments will be unavailable on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 9:30 PM CT to 11:00 PM CT. During this time, customers using RRC applications will be unable to process online payments through Texas.gov payment services and will be redirected to a maintenance page and will be unable to complete payments until after the maintenance is complete.

This page provides a general summary of informal complaints.  The count on this page includes informal complaints filed since July, 1996.  The information is updated every six months.

A review of the current and settled complaints as of July 31, 2025 provides the following data:

  • 0 active complaints or inquiries on file.
  • 152 settled complaints or complaints moved to the formal complaint process.

A breakdown of the 152 settled complaints are as follows:

  • 143 settled.
  • 9 moved to the formal complaint process.

Complaint Category Definitions:

Active - complaint in process.

Settled - complaint was settled either by resolution of the issue or the decision of the parties not to pursue the complaint further.

Formal Complaint - parties to the informal complaint moved the complaint to the Commission's formal complaint process.
